Wait for record to be prepared and filed with Court of Appeal
There may be motions, such as to augment the record or to dismiss appeal
The major effort is writing our brief
When all briefs are filed, oral argument occurs
Then we wait for the court to decide.
After that, we consider whether to go to a higher court, and each court has similar steps.
