DON’T LET MISSED DEADLINES COST YOU YOUR APPEAL

If you file your Notice of Appeal late, there are no excuses, no appeal.

The list below does not contain all the deadlines that apply regarding an appeal; however, these are the ones most commonly tripped over by litigants who want to appeal.

If you don’t comply with these deadlines, it may be impossible for appellate counsel to help you.

Rule 8.104. Time to file notice of appeal – There is no rule of greater importance.

File early to avoid letting this deadline pass by.
